Axxon Wertpapierhandelsbank AG - First Use of IS.Slider in a Trading Room

FRANKFURT - Frankfurt's Axxon Wertpapierhandelsbank AG has opted to employ IS.Slider. Axxon is thus the first company to use IS.Teledata's Financial Desktop in a trading room where it replaces Reuters 3000Xtra terminals.

Carsten Dirks, Director International Sales of IS.Teledata AG is delighted: "We are very pleased that Axxon trusts IS.Slider in essential fields like the commission business and proprietary trading. The decision of the security trading bank is an accolade for our professional solution."

The Frankfurt securities trader with a license to trade at the Frankfurt Stock Exchange acts in corporate finance, trading stocks and institutional financial advice. As a stock trader, they represent heavy-trading private customers and small and mid-sized institutional customers, but also sell issues on the capital market and trade for their own account.

"We have been looking for a user-friendly terminal with first-rate analysis modules and comprehensive financial content to meet the high demands of our trading employees," says Christian Bimüller, trader at Axxon. "With its financial desktop solution and its custom scope of market data, IS.Teledata supports us in improving the cost structure of our IT environment, while ensuring the high service quality for our customers."

The decision to replace the 3000Xtra terminals has not been an easy one. After all, its users had been satisfied and used to the system. Not to mention the risks inherent in switching applications that support essential business activities. So Axxon ran extensive tests of all terminal providers on the market and put all solutions under close scrutiny. After four months, they arrived at their decision for IS.Teledata's professional solution IS.Slider. It offers the optimum package of service, technology, functionality and contents at a competitive price.
