Commerzbank Launches Trader 2003: New Broker Game Uses IS.Teledata Technology

FRANKFURT (IST) - Trader2003, the broker game of Commerzbank, has been launched in September. In the game, players aim to increase their virtual capital by skillful buying and selling stocks and securities. It allows private investors to test new investment strategies without risks and to increase their understanding of financial processes. IS.Teledata, Europe's leading provider of financial market information systems, delivers the technology that drives the game.

Players start with two empty portfolios and € 100,000 per portfolio. All instruments traded at the Frankfurt and Stuttgart exchanges are fair game. All derivatives issued by Commerzbank, such as certificates and warrants can also be traded. The grand prize is a Jaguar X-TYPE 2.0 D Classic. Each week, the most successful trader receives a cash prize of € 2,222.22. As a special prize, a luxury trip to the Grand Prix of Monaco is raffled off among all players.
