Christian Thier Appointed New Managing Director Of IS.Teledata MD Solutions AG
Enforcing Sales In Switzerland
ZURICH - Christian Thier has been appointed managing director and delegate of the board of directors of IS.Teledata MD Solutions AG in Switzerland. In this position he is successor of Beat Rohr who stays with the company to focus on the technological developments of IS.Teledata MD Solutions.
Christian Thier transfers from IS.Teledata's parent company headquarters in Frankfurt, Germany, where he most recently acted as Divisional Sales Manager for the retail and private banking sector and as Deputy Sales Director for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Christian Thier has been employed by the provider and operator of customisable financial market information systems since 1999. He holds a business degree with emphases in business data processing and marketing.
"Given that Switzerland is one of the most important and most traditional banking markets in Europe, we aim to strengthen sales in this area significantly," says Christian Thier about the company's strategy. "Apart from the very satisfactory business with our terminal product IS.Slider, we notice a demand for financial market information systems which support sales and optimise specific internal workflows. Customers can thus lower cost and increase revenues."
