American Express Uses and Promotes S&P Fund Solutions

LONDON - American Express Financial Services Europe Limited has integrated S&P Fund Solutions, the IS.Partner Solution operated jointly with Standard & Poor's, onto its wrap platform to rank and analyse funds.

'Adviser Service powered by American Express' is American Express Financial Services Europe Limited's wrap platform. It offers a multi-asset platform-based wrap account, which supports financial advisers in maintaining relationships with their clients. Thanks to the integration of S&P Fund Solutions, the wrap platform now offers the entire fund universe of UK registered funds.

On request, financial advisers get access to 266 fund managers offering over 4,000 registered UK funds, including around 900 funds that American Express Financial Services Europe Limited has negotiated discounts with.

Customised for American Express Financial Services Europe Limited, the S&P Fund Solution gives independent financial advisers current and accurate access to standardised fund performance information, facilitating the easy comparison of funds. Advisers will also have access to Standard & Poor's Fund Management Ratings, Standard & Poor's Fund Stars, ratings reports and extensive search and selection tools.

The American Express wrap platform will enable future S&P/IS.Teledata AG designed solution components to be easily added to similar wrap solutions thus enriching the offering still further. Other advisory components currently being considered are Risk Profiling, Hypothetical Investment, Model Portfolio's, Standard & Poor's Recommendations.

The launch further strengthens the corporate partnership with Standard & Poor's and provides another global blue chip company with a solution "powered by IS.Teledata AG", by combining integrity, independence and quality with rigorously tested and robust solutions to meet the broad spectrum of a client's requirements.

Andreas Assum, responsible for the Partner Relationship Management with &&P at IS.Teledata AG comments: "We are proud to enter the relationship with American Express with our partner S&P."

In a press release in late September, American Express Financial Services Europe Limited announced the launch and commends the solution's wealth of data and its usefulness for advisers.
