Interactive Data and Expansión Host Funds Awards in Madrid

Interactive Data joins Spain’s leading financial newspaper for the second time to recognise the top performing investment companies of 2008

London, UK and Frankfurt, Germany – March 9, 2009 – Interactive Data Corporation (NYSE: IDC), a leading provider of financial market data, analytics and related services, today announced that its Managed Solutions business will join UNEDISA (Unidad Editorial S.A.), publisher of Expansión and a leading financial information company in Spain, in hosting the annual funds awards in Madrid on 12 March 2009. This event recognises the leading Spanish investment companies for their performance over the past year and is one of the most prestigious events for the Spanish funds industry.

The 'Expansión/Interactive Data Funds Awards' will take place in Real Casa de Correos, Madrid. Speakers on the night will include Esperanza Aguirre (president of the Community of Madrid), Jesús Martínez de Rioja Vázquez (editor, Expansión) and Roger Sargeant (managing director, International, Interactive Data).

The awards will recognise best performances in the following categories: funds within seven sectors; international investment companies (small, medium and large); national investment companies (small, medium and large); funds (stocks, bonds and mixed); and pension funds (stocks, bonds and mixed). Around 300 guests, including senior representatives of the Spanish funds and banking industry, are expected to attend the ceremony and gala dinner.
